Psalm 37:7: "Be still before YHWH and wait patiently for Him; fret not yourself over the one who prospers in his way, over the man who carries out evil devices!"
Zechariah 2:13: "Be still before YHWH, all mankind, because He has roused himself from His holy dwelling
Ecc 3:1 3 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
In this season. The season of stillness just before the new year approaches. It's tempting to think that there is not much happening since there aren't many blooms and the trees still have no leaves. But on the contrary, there is much taking place... although not visible the seed which was planted is swelling as it aborbs the water, making it supple so the roots can be strengthened while preparing for its time to bloom. Because there isn't much to look at that gives an assurance of life, many may get weary in the waiting because your surroundings cause you to walk by faith and not by sight. But those that are connected at the root are experiencing the provoking of maturity.. The dying of self, and the hope that's stirring with ideas of new opportunities that comes with growth and maturity... We are looking forward to the season of abundance that's springing forth... and while we wait... In this season of stillness... We will be content but not complacent. Still but not stagnant. We wait in shalom.. in this season of stillness, because we are assured of what we hope for although we cannot see....... Abba has many beautiful things in store for His children in the new year ahead. But let the effective needed work of rest during this still season have its perfect work while we tarry a little longer in this selah.
